...BRIEF GUSTY WINDS EXPECTED WITH SHOWERS AND WEAK STORMS
THROUGH EARLY EVENING...

SCATTERED SHOWERS ALONG WITH A FEW WEAK THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE ACROSS CARBON AND ALBANY COUNTIES INTO EARLY THIS
EVENING. OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING ALONG WITH WIND GUSTS OF UP TO
BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH ARE LIKELY. THE RAWLINS AIRPORT RECORDED A
WIND GUST OF 53 MPH AT 5 PM. THIS ACTIVITY WILL DISSIPATE LATE
THIS EVENING.

ACROSS JOHNSON COUNTY. THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR
ACROSS NORTHEAST JOHNSON COUNTY...NORTHEAST OF INTERSTATE 90.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE VERY SLOWLY EAST
ONCE THEY DEVELOP. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS
TO 45 MPH.

COLORADO...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL TAPER OFF TEMPORARILY THIS EVENING
BEFORE INCREASING AGAIN ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS LATER TONIGHT. A
LINE OF SHOWERS IS EXPECTED TO REACH NORTHEAST UTAH AROUND MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT AND TREK EASTWARD INTO WESTERN COLORADO BY DAYBREAK.

A STRONGER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CURRENTLY ALONG THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST COAST WILL STRENGTHEN AND DIVE SOUTH THROUGH EASTERN
NEVADA AND WESTERN UTAH SATURDAY TO EASTERN ARIZONA SUNDAY...AND
THEN MOVE EAST ACROSS NEW MEXICO SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. THE
ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT
AND SUNDAY BRINGING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS...A FEW THUNDERSTORMS...AND
COOLER TEMPERATURES.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN WITH THE
SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS FAVORED TO RECEIVE SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS
OVER ITS HIGHEST ELEVATIONS. VALLEY RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW
SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST INTO MONDAY BUT WILL FOCUS NEARER
THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
