FLOOD WARNING...CORRECTED
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DULUTH MN
1036 AM CDT MON MAY 25 2015

...The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a flood warning
for the following rivers in Minnesota...

  Mississippi River Near Fort Ripley affecting Morrison and Crow Wing
  Counties

.Rainfall overnight and today will lead to a slight rise in the
Mississippi River stage through the area. The slight rise at Fort
Ripley will take the river to flood stage early Wednesday morning.
Depending on how much rain falls into the basin this afternoon and
tonight...the water level may increase several tenths above the 10
foot flood stage...but should remain well below 11 feet.

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Mississippi River Near Fort Ripley.
* from late Tuesday night to late Friday night.
* At  9:00 AM Monday the stage was 9.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage early
  Wednesday morning.
* At 11.0 feet...This will cause minor flooding of rural areas near
  Fort Ripley..
This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8 feet on Jul 25 1972.
