...LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 7 AM EST SATURDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL INTENSIFY AROUND 10PM THIS EVENING AND
   CONTINUE TO FALL MODERATELY INTO FRIDAY MORNING. LIGHT TO
   MODERATE SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

 * WINDS GUSTING UP TO 25 MPH WILL LEAD TO PATCHY BLOWING SNOW
   THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. WINDS WILL INCREASE UP TO 35 MPH ON
   FRIDAY...LEADING TO INCREASED BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED
   VISIBILITIES.

 * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED NEAR LAKE
   SUPERIOR TONIGHT...WITH AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 5 INCHES FRIDAY
   AND FRIDAY NIGHT. THE LEAST SNOW WILL FALL AWAY FROM LAKE
   SUPERIOR.

 * WIND CHILL READINGS WILL BE AS LOW AS 25 BELOW ZERO STARTING
   FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

IMPACTS...

 * SNOW COVERED ROADS WILL CONTINUE TO BE SLIPPERY.

 * BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO ONE MILE OR LESS AT
   TIMES...ESPECIALLY ON FRIDAY NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR.

 * WIND CHILL VALUES TO 25 BELOW ZERO CAN LEAD TO FROST BITE ON
   EXPOSED SKIN IN AS LITTLE AS 15 MINUTES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY MEANS LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS
   FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT IN SOME AREAS.
