...THUNDERSTORMS OVER PORTIONS OF ASHLAND...SAWYER...AND PRICE
COUNTIES...

AT 613 PM CDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES WEST OF
PARK FALLS. A SECOND THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF
LORETTA. BOTH STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH...PEA SIZE HAIL...AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
PARK FALLS...FIFIELD...BUTTERNUT...BUTTERNUT LAKE AND CONNORS LAKE.

SEEK SHELTER INDOORS UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

IF YOU ARE ON OR NEAR ONE OF THE AREA LAKES...GET OFF OF THE WATER
IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK SHELTER ON SHORE INSIDE A STURDY BUILDING.

...LINE OF SHOWERS WITH SCATTERED STORMS APPROACHING NORTH CENTRAL
WISCONSIN...

AT 529 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS WITH
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM JUST SOUTHWEST OF MARQUETTE
MICHIGAN...TO IRONWOOD TO RICE LAKE...AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30
MPH.

THIS SECOND LINE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS TRAILS AN EARLIER BAND OF
SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONT PASSAGE. THE SECOND BAND OF
SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE WORKING INTO VILAS...ONEIDA AND FOREST
COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM THIS EVENING.

PEA SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH A
FEW OF THESE STORMS.

WAUSAU...RHINELANDER...CRANDON...EAGLE RIVER...MERRILL...KINGSFORD...
