* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  WASHTENAW COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN...
  LIVINGSTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN...

* UNTIL 1230 PM EDT

* AT 832 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF URBAN AREAS... ROADS...
AND LOCAL EXPRESSWAYS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

PLEASE REPORT FLOODING TO YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WHEN YOU
CAN DO SO SAFELY.

  DAVISON...FRANKENMUTH...CARO...DURAND...VASSAR...CLIO...
  CASS CITY...CHESANING...PERRY...ST. CHARLES...BIRCH RUN...REESE...
  LAINGSBURG AND MILLINGTON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED...OR
PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
