...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * NORTH TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WILL DEVELOP
   THIS EVENING ALONG THE LAKE HURON SHORELINE. THE AREAS
   EXPECTED TO BE MOST IMPACTED WILL BE ALONG AND NEAR M 25 FROM
   PORT AUSTIN TO HARBOR BEACH.

 * AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH HURON COUNTY BETWEEN
   330 PM AND 6 PM EST. THE STRONGEST WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE
   EXPECTED TO OCCUR PRIMARILY BETWEEN 6 PM AND 10 PM EST.

 * SCATTERED SNOW SQUALLS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG AND
   IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE COLD FRONT. VISIBILITIES MAY BE
   REDUCED BRIEFLY TO NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS DUE TO HIGH
   INTENSITY SNOWFALL RATES AND BLOWING SNOW.

IMPACTS...

 * THE STRONG WINDS MAY LEAD TO POWER OUTAGES...PARTICULARLY
   NEAR THE LAKE HURON SHORELINE.

 * DRIVING WILL BECOME DIFFICULT...PRIMARILY ON M 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 MPH OR GUSTS
   OF 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING
   DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA
   CAUTION.
