.Recent rainfall and routed water from upstream will result in flooding
on the Cedar River near Conesville.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.


If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

...Flood Warning in effect until further notice...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Cedar River near Conesville.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:00 AM Friday the stage was 10.9 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Sunday morning...and continue
  rising to 13.8 feet Monday evening.
* Impact...At  13.5 feet...Water affects yards and access roads of
  residences along Iowa Highway 22. Water affects the lowest
  sections of campgrounds just north of I-80 along the river and the
  lowest sections of Jack Shuger Memorial Park in Moscow. Water is
  also on 152nd Street north of County Road F70.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Cedar River at Cedar Falls...or From the West Fork Cedar the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.
* Until Tuesday morning.
* At  4:45 PM Friday the stage was 89.7 feet...or 1.7 feet above
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 88.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...continue falling and go below Flood Stage Tuesday
* Impact...At 89.7 feet...Water covers the road at 1712 and 1118
  Cottage Row Road.
