A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT SATURDAY.

* TEMPERATURE: HIGHS SATURDAY AFTERNOON WILL RANGE IN THE MIDDLE TO
  UPPER 90S ACROSS MANY AREAS. THE COMBINATION OF VERY WARM
  TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH ABUNDANT LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE WILL RESULT IN
  HEAT INDEX VALUES RANGING FROM 100 TO 105 DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
  EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* IMPACTS: THOSE EXPOSED TO THE DANGEROUS HEAT AND HIGH HUMIDITY
  OVER A PROLONGED PERIOD HAVE AN INCREASED RISK OF HEAT RELATED
  ILLNESSES. CARS CAN REACH LETHAL TEMPERATURES IN A MATTER OF
  MINUTES. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS UNATTENDED IN A
  VEHICLE... NOT EVEN FOR A MINUTE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS
EXPECTED. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND HIGH HUMIDITY
WILL CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE POSSIBLE.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER...AVOID CAFFEINATED...ALCOHOLIC OR HIGH
SUGAR CONTENT BEVERAGES...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY

  FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...EXCESSIVE HEAT OF THIS NATURE CAN RAPIDLY CAUSE HEAT
  RELATED SICKNESS.

A HEAT ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN HIGH HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO
