  NORTHEASTERN LINCOLN COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
  SOUTHERN DE BACA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
  EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL GUADALUPE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
  SOUTHERN ROOSEVELT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
  NORTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 115 PM MDT

* AT 1019 AM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN FROM SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE MOVING OVER
  THE SAME AREAS ALMOST CONTINUOUSLY. THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE
  RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR. RAINFALL TOTALS
  THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON COULD REACH TWO TO THREE INCHES
  IN A FEW SPOTS. LOCATIONS IMPACTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN INCLUDE
  RAMON...MESA...KENNA...MORA...CAUSEY AND MILNESAND.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
  STREAMS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. RAPID RUNOFF CAN ALSO BE
  EXPECTED IMMEDIATELY OVER AND DOWNSTREAM FROM WILDFIRE BURN SCARS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS MAY RESULT IN
FLOODING OF ROAD INTERSECTIONS AND LOW-LYING AREAS. WATERS MAY BEGIN
TO RUN IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS.

  OVER THE SAME AREA ACROSS PORTIONS OF CHAVES AND EASTERN LINCOLN
  COUNTIES. ONE TO TWO MORE INCHES OF RAIN COULD FALL IN A FEW SPOTS
  INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THEY MAY INCLUDE ARABELA...ROSWELL...
  DEXTER...MIDWAY AND HAGERMAN.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
