AT 700 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR STILL
SHOWED SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO AND FAR WEST TEXAS. WITH THE WANING OF DAYTIME HEATING
STORM ACTIVITY WAS TRENDING DOWNWARD WITH FEWER AND WEAKER STORMS
IN PROGRESS OVER EASTERN DONA ANA AND SIERRA COUNTIES...WESTERN
OTERO COUNTY...AND PARTS OF EL PASO COUNTY.

STORMS SHOULD CONTINUE TO DIMINISH THROUGH THE 7 O`CLOCK HOUR. THE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS NOW EXPIRED AND ALTHOUGH SOME STORMS
ARE EXPECTING TO LINGER LATER INTO THE EVENING...THEY ARE NOT
EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE. THUS ONLY MODERATE RAIN AND GUSTS NEAR 40
MPH WITH THE REMAINING STORM.

NORTH NORTHEAST BETWEEN 10 AND 20 MPH. THE STRONGER STORMS AND
HEAVIER RAINS WILL FAVOR THE EAST HALF OF CURRY COUNTY THROUGH
WEST AND CENTRAL ROOSEVELT COUNTY AND FAR EASTERN CHAVES COUNTY.
BETWEEN PEA AND PENNY OR NICKEL SIZE HAIL AS WELL AS STRONG GUSTY
WINDS WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. SOME ADDITIONAL SHOWER
AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE
TO DEVELOP WESTWARD ACROSS DE BACA AND GUADALUPE COUNTIES AND
PERHAPS SAN MIGUEL AND CHAVES COUNTIES AS WELL. PRECIPITATION
AMOUNTS WITH THE STRONGER STORMS WILL LIKELY RANGE FROM HALF AN INCH
TO LOCALLY OVER AN INCH THROUGH 9 PM.
