  NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS FROM PORT AUSTIN TO HARBOR BEACH MI...

 AT 620 PM EDT...A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
WATERSPOUTS...WAS LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 NM SOUTHWEST
OF CENTRAL LAKE HURON BUOY TO 6 NM NORTHWEST OF PORT HOPE TO
CASEVILLE...MOVING EAST AT 55 KNOTS.

HAZARD...WATERSPOUTS...WIND GUSTS TO NEARLY 50 KNOTS AND LARGE HAIL.

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED.

IMPACT...WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY
         HAZARDOUS SEAS. SMALL CRAFT COULD BE DAMAGED IN BRIEFLY
         HIGHER WINDS AND SUDDENLY HIGHER WAVES. LARGE HAIL COULD
         RESULT IN STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  PORT HOPE AROUND 625 PM EDT.
  HARBOR BEACH AROUND 650 PM EDT.

OTHER LOCATIONS IMPACTED BY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS INCLUDE BAY PORT.
