NORTH CENTRAL PARTS OF NORTH CAROLINA FRIDAY. THIS HELPED
GENERATE AREAS OF SNOW MELT WATER. THIS WATER WILL REFREEZE
OVERNIGHT AND PRODUCE ICE ON SURFACES SUCH AS ROADS...SIDEWALKS...
DRIVEWAYS AND PARKING LOTS.

20S. EVEN IN AREAS WHERE ROADS HAVE BEEN CLEARED...LINGERING
MOISTURE FROM MELTING ICE WILL REFREEZE AND BLACK ICE MAY BE LESS
OBVIOUS. AREAS OF BLACK ICE WILL BE MOST PROMINENT ON SECONDARY
ROADS AS WELL AS BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...AND EXIT AND ENTRANCE
RAMPS ON AREA HIGHWAYS. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW FREEZING
THROUGH AT LEAST 10 AM SATURDAY.
