MONTANA...
  MILK RIVER AT TAMPICO AFFECTING VALLEY COUNTY

...THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN MONTANA..
  MILK RIVER AT GLASGOW AFFECTING VALLEY COUNTY

.FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ON THE LOWER MILK RIVER AT GLASGOW FOR THE
NEXT SEVERAL DAYS AS WATER LEVELS DROP VERY SLOWLY. TAMPICO HAS
DROPPED BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY THIS MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

AVOID TRAVELLING ON FLOODED ROADS. WASHOUTS MAY BE HIDDEN UNDER THE
WATER.

* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY
  WEDNESDAY BEFORE MIDNIGHT.

  SOURIS RIVER NEAR WESTHOPE AFFECTING BOTTINEAU COUNTY
FOR THE SOURIS RIVER BASIN INCLUDING WESTHOPE...MINOR FLOODING IS
OCCURRING AND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE.

..THE SOURIS RIVER NEAR WESTHOPE WILL REMAIN AROUND THE CURRENT WATER
LEVELS THROUGH THIS WEEK. ACCORDINGLY...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
WILL CONTINUE TO ISSUE UPDATES ON MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS. AT THIS
POINT...THE SOURIS RIVER NEAR WESTHOPE IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE
FLOOD STAGE UNTIL AROUND THE THIRD WEEK OF SEPTEMBER.

SAFETY MESSAGE...DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER TOPS THE
ROADWAY. TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN. AVOID DRIVING ON FLOODED ROADS.

* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL HOLD NEAR 11.7 FEET THROUGH THIS
  AFTERNOON.  ADDITIONAL RISES MAY BE POSSIBLE THEREAFTER.
* IMPACT...AT 12.0 FEET...WILDLIFE AND REFUGE FLOODING ONLY.
