  along right bank..
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Flood stage. Minor flooding of agricultural
  land along right bank..
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Bankfull stage..
* Flood history...This crest compares to a preivious crest of 12.0
  feet on May 9 1995.

...The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Wyoming...

  Goose Creek at Sheridan affecting Sheridan County

.Over two inches of rainfall has occurred in the foothills west of
 Sheridan in the last 12 hours. The excessive rainfall is expected
 to produce flooding within the city limits of Sheridan overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...A river Flood Warning means river flooding is
expected to impact people and property in the warned area. Prepare
for flooding impacts associated with the forecast river levels in
your location.

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Goose Creek at Sheridan in Sheridan County, WY. This
  also includes the Little Goose and Big Goose Creeks within the
  town of Sheridan.
* until Monday noon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9 PM Sunday the stage was 5.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage around 1 AM
  Monday and crest near 8.3 feet around 5 AM Monday. The river
  will fall below flood stage Monday morning around 9 AM.
* Impacts...Flooding of low lying property is expected to become
  widespread. The most likely impacts are flooding along Leopard St
  in downtown Sheridan and NB Avenue. Minor flooding is also
  expected all along Big Goose and Little Goose Creeks within the
  city of Sheridan.

CLOSED...ESPECIALLY ROADS THAT CROSS RAPID CREEK IN RAPID VALLEY.

CITY...RAPID VALLEY...JOHNSON SIDING...HISEGA...CAPUTA...AND
FARMINGDALE.

ALREADY FALLEN. WATERS HAVE BEGUN TO RECEDED IN THE KEYSTONE AREA.
FURTHER DOWNSTREAM...THE AUTOMATED GAUGE AT HERMOSA SHOWS THAT
BATTLE CREEK IS ALMOST THREE FEET ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.

HERMOSA...KEYSTONE... AND HAYWARD.

* UNTIL 800 PM MDT MONDAY

* AT 800 PM MDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLOODING ACROSS THE
  WARNED AREA.  FLOODING WAS OCCURRING IN BARNUM AND KAYCEE ALONG
  THE MIDDLE FORK OF THE POWDER RIVER.  THE MIDDLE FORK OF THE
  POWDER RIVER AT KAYCEE WAS AT 8.9 FEET OR NEARLY TWO FEET ABOVE
  FLOOD STAGE.  FLOOD STATE IS 7.0 FEET.  THE RIVER CRESTED AT 9.5
  FEET AT 5 PM.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...KAYCEE...
  FORT RENO HISTORICAL SITE...I25 EXIT 246...I25 EXIT 249...
  MAYOWORTH...STATE HWY 191 MILE MARKER 10 AND STATE HWY 192 MILE
  MARKER 10.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 IN WYOMING BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 245 AND
264.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE-QUARTER TO ONE-HALF INCH ARE
POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA TONIGHT.

  CENTRAL BLACK HILLS. SPRING CREEK BELOW SHERIDAN LAKE IS
  RISING...WITH STREAM GAUGES SHOWING SPRING CREEK NEAR ROCKERVILLE
  IS APPROACHING FLOOD STAGE. STREAM LEVELS WILL CONTINUE TO RISE
  THROUGH THE DAY...AND INCREASE DOWNSTREAM TO THE CHEYENNE RIVER.
