...LIGHT SNOW AND WIND EXPECTED FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN WYOMING
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...

A WEATHER SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH THE AREA THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT WILL
RESULT IN SOME OCCASIONAL LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WITH LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS TONIGHT BEFORE INCREASING ACROSS THE AREA SATURDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA BY SUNDAY
MORNING WILL RANGE IN SOME LOCATIONS FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES. A BRISK
WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH
SPEEDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS 30 TO 40 MPH AT TIMES. THIS WILL
CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN SOME AREAS AND LOW
VISIBILITY AND WILL IMPACT TRAVEL ON INTERSTATE 80 AND OTHER
STATE HIGHWAYS.

Southwest winds sustained at 25 to 40 mph with gusts to around 50
mph will prevail this afternoon. These strong winds will impact
travel along Interstate 80 from Buford to the summit...and between
Laramie and Rawlins.

Motorists traveling with lightweight and high profile vehicles
should be alert for gusty crosswinds in Interstate 80.
