...PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW THIS MORNING...

.BANDS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS EASTERN
MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN WITH VISIBILITY DROPPING DOWN TO A
HALF MILE AT TIMES. THIS 2 TO 4 HOUR PERIOD OF SNOW WILL CAUSE
ROADS TO BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY FOR THIS MORNINGS
COMMUTE. FREEZING DRIZZLE HAS NOT FORMED YET ON THE BACK SIDE OF
THE SNOW...BUT SOME COULD STILL DEVELOP OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

TODAY...

* MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW HAS DEVELOPED AND WILL TRACK TO THE EAST
  THROUGH THE MORNING. A CHANGE OVER TO FREEZING DRIZZLE IS
  POSSIBLE BETWEEN 8 AM AND 11 AM WITH A DIMINISHING TREND AROUND
  NOON.

* EXPECT TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND A 1/2 INCH ALONG THE
  MISSISSIPPI RIVER TO UP TO 2 INCHES OVER NORTH CENTRAL
  WISCONSIN. THIS SNOW WILL FALL OVER A 2 TO 4 HOUR PERIOD AND
  WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO A HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* FREEZING DRIZZLE COULD LEAD TO A GLAZE OF ICE DEVELOPING...
  PARTICULARLY ON ANY UNTREATED SURFACES.

* PLAN ON SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE.
