...BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS ON MEMORIAL DAY MAY RESULT IN
LOCALIZED AREAS OF URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE STREET FLOODING...

NUMEROUS RAIN SHOWERS ACROSS THE MID ATLANTIC STATES WILL LIFT
NORTHEAST AND OVERSPREAD SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AFTER MIDNIGHT INTO
EARLY MONDAY MORNING. SOME OF THESE RAIN SHOWERS WILL RESULT IN
VERY LOCALIZED BANDS OF TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND MAY RESULT IN
SOME URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE STREET FLOODING. THERE ALSO A LOW
RISK OF VERY LOCALIZED URBAN FLASH FLOODING IF THE HEAVIEST RAIN
BANDS TRAIN OVER THE TYPICALLY VULNERABLE AREAS.

MOTORISTS PLANNING TRAVEL ON MEMORIAL DAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
NUMEROUS RAIN SHOWERS THAT MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED STREET
FLOODING.
