...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
EDT MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
EDT MONDAY.

* LOCATION...THE LOWER CAPE FEAR RIVER INCLUDING DOWNTOWN
  WILMINGTON.

* COASTAL FLOODING...WATER LEVELS ON THE CAPE FEAR RIVER GAUGE AT
  DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON SHOULD PEAK AROUND 5.5 FEET MLLW.

* TIMING...BETWEEN 11 PM AND 1 AM WITH THE HIGHEST WATER LEVEL
  AROUND MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACTS...PORTIONS OF BATTLESHIP ROAD...THE WESTBOUND LANE OF
  U.S.S NORTH CAROLINA ROAD AND WATER STREET IN DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON
  WILL BE BRIEFLY COVERED IN A COUPLE INCHES OF WATER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES WILL
COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
