  rise to near 12.0 feet by Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible
  thereafter.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Flooding will worsen in the Lees Landing, Riverfront
  South, Pitch Landing and Savannah Bluff communities. Flood waters will begin
  to affect homes north of Conway on Riverside Drive. Swamps will be heavily
  flooded.

  disrupting logging operations. Operations will likely cease and equipment not
  previously moved will remain trapped. Some farmland will have minor flooding
  especially around Britton Neck.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.8 feet by early Wednesday
  morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...Floodwaters cause roads to become impassable in the
  River Bend, River Birch and Alligator Lake subdivisions off Highway 53. These
  areas become isolated due to the floodwaters and some evacuations may be
  needed. In the Holly Shelter Estates subdivision, half of the area has water
  on the roads due to floodwaters. Approximately 12 homes on Old Maple Hill Road
  off Shaw Highway become isolated.

  North Fork Edisto River At Orangeburg affecting Orangeburg County


..River levels on the North Fork Edisto River remains above flood
stage. Light amounts of rainfall are expected in the next 24 hours...
however the river level will stabilize and then slowly begin to fall.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will reach 8.3 feet by after midnight tomorrow

 and fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon.
* At 8.0 feet...Some minor flooding occurs along the boardwalk at
  Edisto Gardens. Downstream from the Highway 301 bridge, some roads
  off Chiquita street near the river begin to flood.
