  CAROLINA...BLADEN...COASTAL BRUNSWICK...COASTAL NEW HANOVER...
  COASTAL PENDER...COLUMBUS...INLAND BRUNSWICK...INLAND NEW
  HANOVER...INLAND PENDER AND ROBESON. IN NORTHEAST SOUTH
  CAROLINA...COASTAL GEORGETOWN...DARLINGTON...DILLON...
  FLORENCE...INLAND GEORGETOWN...MARION...MARLBORO...
  WILLIAMSBURG...COASTAL HORRY AND INLAND HORRY.

* THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL HAVE THE
  POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE RAINFALL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES THROUGH SUNDAY
  EVENING. ISOLATED AREAS OVER 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

* HEAVY RAIN WILL BE FALLING ON AREAS THAT HAVE RECEIVED
  SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL DURING THE LAST FEW WEEKS. INCREASED RUNOFF
  WILL ELEVATE FLOODING POTENTIAL...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS.

* THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE
  POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN THROUGH SUNDAY
  EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.

* PRIMARY IMPACT WILL BE ON SMALLER STREAMS AS WELL AS URBAN AND LOW
  LAYING AREAS THAT ARE PRONE TO FLOODING.

...HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE FLOODING OVER EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
TODAY AND THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND...

.A STALLED FRONTAL BOUNDARY AND A STREAM OF TROPICAL MOISTURE
WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE AREA TODAY AND THROUGH MUCH
OF THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE
BETWEEN 3-5 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS LIKELY THROUGH
SUNDAY. THIS AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION OVER ALREADY WET GROUND WILL
LEAD TO FLOODING ACROSS EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA, PARTICULARLY IN
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND NEAR SMALL RIVERS AND CREEKS.
