THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM EDT SATURDAY TO 10 AM
EST SUNDAY.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA EARLY SATURDAY
  MORNING AND REMAIN BREEZY THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...WINDS WILL BE FROM THE NORTHWEST AT 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH
  GUSTS FROM 30 TO 35 KNOTS.

* IMPACTS...THE STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH WAVES ON THE AREA LAKES
  WILL PRODUCE DIFFICULT CONDITIONS FOR SMALL WATERCRAFT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOP
ON AREA LAKES. SMALL BOATS AND PERSONAL WATERCRAFT WILL BE
ESPECIALLY PRONE TO CAPSIZING.
