EXTENDING FROM GREEN POND TO DALE...MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

HAZARD...60 MPH WIND GUSTS.

AT 543 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A LINE OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 58
MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 6 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SEAGROVE TO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BISCOE TO NEAR
WADESBORO...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. WIND DAMAGE HAS BEEN
REPORTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF ANSON COUNTY WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
SOUTHERN PINES...ROCKINGHAM...WADESBORO...CARTHAGE...PINEHURST...
HAMLET...ABERDEEN...BISCOE...ANSONVILLE AND HOFFMAN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

STRAIGHT LINE WINDS CAN BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND DAMAGE
MOBILE HOMES AND OTHER BUILDINGS. SEEK SHELTER IN A STURDY STRUCTURE
UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AS FLYING DEBRIS
GENERATED BY DAMAGING WINDS CAN BE DEADLY.

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE ACROSS ANSON
COUNTY. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK SHELTER NOW INSIDE
A STURDY STRUCTURE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

IN ADDITION TO DAMAGING WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
