...HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 104 DEGREES EXPECTED MIDDAY THROUGH
THIS AFTERNOON...

TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID 90S COMBINED WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE
LOW TO MID 70S WILL PRODUCE A RANGE OF HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN
100 AND 104 DEGREES DURING THIS AFTERNOON.

IF WORKING OUTSIDE TODAY...MAKE SURE YOU TAKE FREQUENT
BREAKS BY SEEKING SHADE AND STAYING HYDRATED. WEAR LOOSE AND LIGHT
COLORED CLOTHING. DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS IN UNATTENDED IN
CLOSED VEHICLES. KEEP AN EXTRA EYE ON THE ELDERLY DURING THIS
HEAT. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT
STROKE...AND KEEP PLENTY OF WATER AND SHADE AVAILABLE TO OUTDOOR
PETS AND LIVESTOCK.
