.SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED BURSTS OF MODERATE SNOW
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING AND EVEN INTO THE EARLY
AFTERNOON OVER THE BLUEGRASS REGION. ROADS ARE LIKELY TO REMAIN
HAZARDOUS...ESPECIALLY ON UNTREATED AND LESS TRAVELED ROADS. SNOW
SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES THIS AFTERNOON.

  TAPERING OFF TO FLURRIES THIS AFTERNOON.

* MAIN IMPACT...OCCASIONAL MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS WILL RESULT IN
  QUICK ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO ANOTHER 1/2 INCH. ROADS WILL
  REMAIN OR BECOME SLICK AND SNOW COVERED... ESPECIALLY
  SECONDARY AND UNTREATED SURFACES.

* OTHER IMPACTS...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
  TO NEAR ZERO INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

RESEARCH SHOWS THAT MORE TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS OCCUR WITH AN INCH OR
LESS OF SNOW...BEFORE DRIVERS REALIZE THAT TRACTION IS REDUCED.
DON`T BECOME A STATISTIC...SLOW DOWN AND LEAVE EXTRA DISTANCE
BETWEEN VEHICLES.
