...HEAVY RAIN THREAT CONTINUES THROUGH MONDAY...

.AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN IN ADVANCE OF A SLOW MOVING COLD
FRONT WILL BE CONDUCIVE FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE FLOODING.
AREA SOILS ARE SATURATED FROM RECENT HEAVY RAINS AND ANY
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WOULD QUICKLY RESULT IN RUNOFF. CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO IMPROVE AFTER THE FRONT ULTIMATELY MOVES THROUGH THE
REGION TUESDAY MORNING.

* PRIMARY IMPACTS WILL BE FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING LOCATIONS
  ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE OR ALONG LOW
  LYING RURAL ROADS. FLOODING OF STREAMS...CREEKS AND BAYOUS CAN
  BE EXPECTED.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

.FIVE TO 10 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE OCCURRED IN THE HARDEST
HIT AREAS WITHIN THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH SINCE YESTERDAY. DRAINAGE
AREAS ARE FILLING UP OR ARE OVERFLOWING ALONG THE I-10 CORRIDOR
DUE TO HEAVY RUNOFF. A BRIEF REPREIVE FROM THE HEAVY RAINS MAY
CONTINUE FOR THE NORTHERN AREAS...HOWEVER THE I-10 CORRIDOR TO
THE COAST WILL SEE OFF AND ON PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN THIS
AFTERNOON. ANOTHER ROUND OF WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED
AGAIN LATER TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.
