THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CST MONDAY.

* EVENT...A TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT BEHIND A COLD FRONT WILL
  RESULT IN GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS TONIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF EAST
  TEXAS AND NORTH LOUISIANA.

* TIMING...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 20 MPH WITH
  GUSTS TO 30 MPH THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACT...BOATERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO ROUGH CHOP ON
  AREA LAKES.

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOP

* EVENT...GUSTY WEST AND NORTHWEST WINDS AT 15 TO 25 MPH WILL BE
  COMMON. WINDS GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE AT
  TIMES.

* AREAS AFFECTED...A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

* TIMING...GUSTY WINDS WILL PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF TONIGHT. WIND
  SPEEDS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH LATER TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...BOATERS WILL EXPERIENCE ROUGH AND CHOPPY CONDITIONS ON
  AREA RIVERS AND LAKES. HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ON AREA ROADWAYS
  MAY ALSO EXPERIENCE SOME HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO
  STRONG CROSSWINDS.
