THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

.WINDS WILL SHARPLY INCREASE AROUND MIDNIGHT AS A REINFORCING
COLD FRONT SURGES ACROSS THE MARINE AREA. FREQUENT GUSTS TO GALE
FORCE ARE EXPECTED BEHIND THIS FRONT WITH SUSTAINED WINDS POSSIBLY
NEARING GALE FORCE AS WELL. SATURDAY AFTERNOON...HIGH PRESSURE
WILL BUILD NEAR ENOUGH TO THE MARINE AREA TO ELIMINATE THE THREAT
FOR GALE FORCE GUSTS...THOUGH ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE

AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

* WINDS: SUSTAINED WINDS NORTH 30 TO 35 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 40
  KNOTS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING.

* SEAS: BUILDING TO 5 TO 8 FEET NEARSHORE...AND 9 TO 12 FEET
  OFFSHORE. WAVES OCCASIONALLY REACHING 15 FEET WELL OFFSHORE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 20 TO 33 KNOTS...
AND/OR SEAS 7 FEET OR HIGHER...ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.
