URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH
341 PM EST SAT JAN 31 2015

.A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE OHIO
VALLEY SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS...A WINTRY MIX WILL
DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING.
WARMER AIR WILL BE PULLED UP AHEAD OF THE LOW ON SUNDAY AND THIS
WILL CHANGE THE PRECIPITATION TO RAIN PRIMARILY SOUTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 70 CORRIDOR. BECAUSE OF THIS...SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE
HIGHLY DEPENDENT ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. AS
COLDER AIR MOVES IN BEHIND THE LOW...PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE
OVER TO ALL SNOW SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF THROUGH EARLY
MONDAY MORNING.

9 AM EST SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST SUNDAY.

* HAZARD TYPES...FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION LESS THAN AN INCH...ALONG WITH
  ICE ACCUMULATION OF LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP THIS
  EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM ABOVE
  FREEZING SUNDAY MORNING ENDING THE WINTRY THREAT.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ARE EXPECTED DUE TO LIGHT SNOW AND
  ICE ACCUMULATIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF
SNOW...SLEET...OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE
