  SOUTHWESTERN FORT BEND COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS...
  EAST CENTRAL WHARTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS...

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 251 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  WHARTON...KENDLETON...PIERCE AND HUNGERFORD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

* AT 207 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY RAIN HAD FALLEN
  FROM THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAVE SINCE WEAKENED AND MOVED OUT OF THE
  AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF FOUR TO SIX INCHES IN THE PAST THREE
  HOURS HAVE BEEN REPORTED.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  KINGWOOD...ROMAN FOREST...WOODBRANCH...PORTER HEIGHTS...
  NORTHEASTERN ATASCOCITA...LAKE HOUSTON...NEW CANEY AND PORTER.

ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW
INCHES OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
