TONIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT.

* EVENT...A TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL BRING GUSTY
  SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH TO
  PARTS OF EAST TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. THEN...AS A COLD FRONT MOVES
  THROUGH THE REGION...NORTHWESTERLY WINDS AT 15 TO 20 MPH WITH
  GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH WILL OVERTAKE MUCH OF THE REGION.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACT...WINDS MAY PRODUCE ROUGH CHOP ON AREA LAKES AND
  RIVERS...WHICH COULD LEAD TO HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS...
  ESPECIALLY ON OPEN WATERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOP
ON AREA LAKES. SMALL BOATS WILL BE ESPECIALLY PRONE TO CAPSIZING.
