  WINDS LIKELY LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY.

* WAVES...3 TO 6 FEET...SLOWLY SUBSIDING TO 2 TO 4 FEET OVERNIGHT.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OR WAVES ARE EXPECTED TO
PRODUCE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED
MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD
AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.

* WINDS...TONIGHT NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 KNOTS BACKING WEST AT 5 TO 15
  KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. MONDAY EVENING WEST TO 25 KNOTS VEERING
  NORTHWEST TO 30 KNOTS WITH GUSTS 40 KNOT GALES OVERNIGHT.
  NORTHWEST TO 30 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 35 KNOT GALES CONTINUING
  TUESDAY.

* WAVES...3 TO 5 FEET THROUGH EARLY TONIGHT. BUILDING TO 10 TO 16
  FEET BY LATE MONDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY.

GUSTS OF 22 TO 33 KNOTS ARE LIKELY...AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN
4 FEET ARE EXPECTED. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE
OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
