...ACCUMULATING SNOW FOR SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...

SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM WEST TO EAST DURING THE EVENING
AND EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS SATURDAY NIGHT...AND CONTINUE SUNDAY AND
SUNDAY NIGHT. THE PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED FROM SUNDAY
MORNING INTO SUNDAY EVENING. THE STORM SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS
SNOW IS STILL LOCATED JUST OFF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST FRIDAY
AFTERNOON. WHILE CONFIDENCE IS HIGH IN ACCUMULATING SNOW...EXACT
AMOUNTS ARE OF MEDIUM CONFIDENCE DUE TO CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY
REGARDING THE EXACT TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THIS SYSTEM.
HOWEVER...THE POTENTIAL DOES EXIST FOR STORM TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 INCHES OR GREATER FROM SATURDAY NIGHT TO SUNDAY
EVENING. LESSER SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED SOUTH OF ROUTE 30
WHERE A RAIN AND SNOW MIX IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM
WILL LIKELY RESULT IN TRAVEL IMPACTS THIS WEEKEND...SO STAY TUNED
FOR THE LATEST FORECAST UPDATES.
