LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL PERSIST ACROSS NORTHWEST INDIANA THIS
MORNING. ALTHOUGH THE STRONGER DEVELOPMENT WILL LIKELY STAY
FURTHER EAST OF THE AREA...NORTHEAST PORTER COUNTY COULD STILL
OBSERVE SOME MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS AT TIMES. UNDER THE HEAVIEST
SNOW...EXPECT VISIBILITY TO FALL TO AROUND ONE MILE AT TIMES WITH
ADDITIONAL SNOW AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES POSSIBLE.

AREA TRAVELERS SHOULD USE CAUTION AS CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY VARY
GREATLY OVER SHORT DISTANCES...WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY AND

DROPPING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS OVERNIGHT...WILL CAUSE BITTER COLD
WIND CHILLS TO DEVELOP OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING OVER THE
AREA. WIND CHILLS WILL LOWER TO BETWEEN 10 AND 17 BELOW ZERO OVER
CENTRAL ILLINOIS AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT INTO MID SATURDAY
MORNING...WITH THE COLDEST WIND CHILLS FROM I-74 NORTH. WIND
CHILLS WILL RANGE FROM 5 TO 10 BELOW ZERO IN SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
FROM I-70 SOUTH LATER TONIGHT INTO MID MORNING SATURDAY. BE SURE
TO BUNDLE UP AND WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES IF VENTURING OUTDOORS
TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.
