STERLING...ROCK FALLS...PRINCETON...HENNEPIN
1121 AM CDT SAT AUG 23 2014

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA
OVER THE NEXT HOUR. EXPECT TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WITH THIS LINE
OF STORMS...WITH 0.75 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN LIKELY. NORTHERN
PORTIONS JO DAVIESS AND STEPHENSON COUNTIES MAY SEE RAINFALL
AMOUNTS AROUND 2 INCHES. THIS AMOUNT OF HEAVY RAIN FALLING IN
SUCH SHORT TIME WILL RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND IN
LOW-LYING AREAS. VISIBILITIES WILL ALSO BE GREATLY REDUCED TO
AROUND 1 MILE OR LESS IN THE HEAVY RAIN. IN ADDITION...DANGEROUS
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED. WINDS MAY ALSO GUST TO
AROUND 30 MPH AS THE LINE MOVES THROUGH.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...MOVE INDOORS. DO NOT STAND BY
WINDOWS. AVOID USING TELEPHONES AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL
THE STORM HAS PASSED.
