This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Areas of fog are likely to develop early Saturday morning,
especially on the Caprock.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Widespread rain showers and a few thunderstorms are expected across
the entire region on Sunday. A few strong storms are possible in
addition to locally heavy rainfall, mainly off the Caprock.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of fog will be locally dense at times this morning across the
San Luis Valley and portions of the southeast plains. Visibility
will drop to under a mile at times before the fog burns off by mid
morning.

Snow showers will spread into the southwest mountains late tonight,
with an inch or two of accumulation possible across the higher
elevations of the eastern San Juan mountains by early Sunday
morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A Pacific weather system will move across the region Sunday into
Sunday night. This system will bring snow to the mountains, snow
and possible rain in the larger valleys and mainly rain to the
plains. However, some snow may be possible over northern El Paso
county Sunday evening. Snowfall amounts of 6 to 10 inches are
likely across the San Juan mountains, with 3 to 6 inch amounts
over the remainder of the mountains. Some accumulating snow will
be possible in the San Luis Valley on sunday, and accumulating
snow may occur across northern El Paso county Sunday evening.

Noticeably colder weather will move into the region on Tuesday and
Wednesday.

Thanksgiving through Saturday should be dry, but another storm
could affect the region Sunday.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be likely over portions of the region.

Panhandles.

Fog is expected to develop across the wester Panhandles tonight
through mid morning. There is a low to moderate chance dense fog
could occur across the southwestern Texas Panhandle.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There are high chances for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday
across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. Flooding or severe
thunderstorms are not expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
