...HIGH TERRAIN SNOW TO CONTINUE OVER THE SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
THROUGH MONDAY BEFORE INCREASING OVER THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS
MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY...

.AS SNOW LEVELS CONTINUE TO RISE...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL REMAIN
CONFINED TO LOCATIONS NEAR AND ABOVE 8500 FEET ACROSS THE SAN JUAN
MOUNTAINS TONIGHT AND MONDAY. MORE WIDESPREAD HEAVY SNOW WILL
RETURN TO THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY
ALONG WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS AND FALLING SNOW LEVELS.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW
  ACCUMULATIONS OF GREATER THAN 8 INCHES EXISTS...FAVORING WEST
  FACING SLOPES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AND HEAVY MONDAY
  EVENING AND OVERNIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40
  MPH OVER RIDGETOPS AND OPEN TERRAIN.

* SNOW LEVELS...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL
  LOCATIONS BY EARLY MONDAY EVENING.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO SNOW PACKED
  AND ICY ROADWAYS ARE EXPECTED AT TIMES IN THE HIGH COUNTRY ALONG
  WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY IN LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
