...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
  10 inches, except up to 15 inches across the peaks near the
  Colorado border.

* WHERE...East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Northern Sangre de
  Cristo Mountains, and Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton
  Pass.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
  reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
  in front of you. This includes portions of I-25 like Raton Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
