* VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* TIMING...THROUGH THE MID MORNING HOURS TODAY.

* IMPACTS...POOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG WILL
SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES...RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS OVER MOST OF THE ADVISORY AREA. MOTORISTS ARE
ADVISED TO SLOW DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS OR FOG LIGHTS...
AND KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU.
CONSIDER ALLOWING EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
