This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

WINTER WEATHER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Much of Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
    ONSET...After Midnight.

DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front will move into northeast Oklahoma by mid
afternoon and sweep south through the region overnight. Areas of
drizzle and freezing drizzle may develop behind the front after
midnight. Should heavier freezing drizzle occur, then a light
glaze of ice is possible on elevated surfaces which may impact
travel conditions early Thursday. In addition, a narrow band of
sleet and/or snow may spread east into parts of eastern Oklahoma
roughly near the Interstate 40 corridor late tonight. If this
occurs, some travel impacts due to sleet and snow may develop.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Winter Weather Potential.
FRIDAY through TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The aforementioned narrow band of sleet and/or snow will continue
into Thursday morning near the Interstate 40 corridor, with some
travel impacts possible. Elsewhere, areas of freezing drizzle will
end by late Thursday morning. Temperatures will begin a warming
trend on Friday and dry weather is forecast this weekend into
early next week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

 Limited Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of patchy fog are ongoing across the eastern Ozarks. With
temperatures below freezing, some of the moisture may freeze onto
untreated and elevated surfaces, creating slick driving
conditions on bridges and overpasses.

There is a 15 to 30 percent chance of a narrow band of light
frozen precipitation north of Interstate 44 this afternoon into
the evening. If this occurs, isolated slick spots on roads would
be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
