ONSET...Mid Morning.

DISCUSSION...
North to northwest winds will gust to near 30 miles an hour today
resulting in a limited fire weather danger. The winds will quickly
diminish by around sunset.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY through TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A dry cold front will move across the area late Thursday night
and Friday morning, with another stronger cold front arriving
Saturday afternoon or evening. Temperatures will be much colder
Sunday following the passage of this second front, but will begin
to moderate early next week.

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Gusty northwesterly winds up to 35 mph will continue through this
afternoon with the strongest gusts occurring along and east of
Highway 65. Winds diminish later on this evening.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Cold temperatures return Friday night with wind chills in the
teens to single digits forecasted Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

Strong winds with gusts of 25 to 40 mph are expected today. See
the Special Weather Statement for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A brief period of very cold conditions can be expected Saturday
night into Sunday. Morning lows will be in the upper single digits
and teens, while wind chills will be in the single digits to
around zero. Highs Sunday will likely not escape the 20s across
most of the area. Lows Sunday night will be similar to Saturday
night, but winds will be light to calm.
