  Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Horse Creek near Arcadia at SR 72.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The access road to Hidden Acres is
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 6.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 12.8
    feet early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.8 feet on 08/30/1981.
