FATHOMS...
GULF WATERS FROM EAST CAPE SABLE TO CHOKOLOSKEE 20 TO 60 NM OUT AND
BEYOND 5 FATHOMS...

AT 515 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 16 NM NORTH OF
CONTENT KEYS TO 8 NM NORTH OF SMITH SHOAL LIGHT...MOVING SOUTH AT 5
KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
COTTRELL KEY...SMITH SHOAL LIGHT AND NORTHWEST CHANNEL BUOY 1.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD AVOID THIS AREA UNTIL
