...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS AND SEAS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM
PST SATURDAY...
...STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Small Craft
Advisory, which is in effect until 4 PM PST Saturday. A Storm
Watch has also been issued. This Storm Watch is in effect from
Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots through
  this afternoon, then west 15 to 20 kt with occasional gusts to
  25 kt tonight through Saturday afternoon. South winds strengthen
  Saturday evening, and expect south winds 35 kt with gusts up to
  50 kt Saturday night through Sunday morning.

* SEAS...Combined seas 17 to 20 feet with a dominant period of 14
  seconds today through Saturday morning. The seas will subside to
  below 15 feet briefly Saturday afternoon then build to above 20
  feet Saturday night. Seas are expected to be 20 to 24 feet with
  a dominant period of 13 seconds Saturday night through Sunday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

A Storm Watch is issued when the risk of storm force winds of
48 to 63 knots has significantly increased, but the specific
timing and/or location is still uncertain. It is intended to
provide additional lead time for mariners who may wish to
consider altering their plans.
