MONDAY...

.INCREASING NORTHEAST WINDS WILL LEAD TO WAVES IN THE SURF ZONE
REACHING 7 TO 9 FEET THIS EVENING. THE ROUGH SURF CONDITIONS WILL
CONTINUE INTO MONDAY.

SOME MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE ON SOUNDSIDE
LOCATIONS OF CARTERET...CRAVEN AND PAMLICO COUNTIES.

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT
SUNDAY.

* LOCATION...SOUNDSIDE LOCATIONS OF CARTERET...CRAVEN AND PAMLICO COUNTIES.

* COASTAL FLOODING...WATER LEVELS RISES OF 2 TO 3 FEET ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...THROUGH THE DAY ON SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING OF ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
