CAROLINA COASTAL WATERS...

.AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP OFF THE NORTH CAROLINA
COAST SATURDAY EVENING. A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL SET UP
BETWEEN THE STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE OFFSHORE AND HIGH PRESSURE
BUILDING IN FROM THE WEST RESULTING IN GALE FORCE WINDS FOR ALL
OF THE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA COASTAL WATERS INCLUDING THE SOUNDS
AND STORM FORCE GUSTS FOR SEVERAL HOURS ACROSS THE CENTRAL
WATERS. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 30 TO 40 KNOTS WITH
GUSTS TO 50 KNOTS FOR THE CENTRAL WATERS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO
SUNDAY MORNING. WINDS AND SEAS WILL DIMINISH LATE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON THOUGH SEAS WILL LINGER ABOVE 6 FEET THROUGH SUNDAY
