AFTERNOON...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON.

* TIMING: THE WORST CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO MATERIALIZE AROUND
  DAYBREAK AND THEN BEGIN TO TAPER OFF LATE MORNING INTO THE EARLY
  AFTERNOON HOURS.

* ACCUMULATION: A TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH OF ICE...MAINLY ON
  ELEVATED SURFACES. ADDITIONAL LIGHT SLEET ACCUMULATION IS
  POSSIBLE AS WELL.

* IMPACTS: HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP MAINLY ON BRIDGES
  AND OVERPASSES. MUCH OF THE AREA WILL HAVE TEMPERATURES NEAR OR
  JUST BELOW FREEZING WHEN THE PRECIPITATION FALLS...BUT AREAS THAT
  SEE TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW 30 WILL HAVE THE WORST TRAVEL ISSUES.
  A FEW POWER OUTAGES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SLEET AND
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
