southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms early this morning. No severe weather
expected with this first round of storms.
Additional thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon
and evening along a cold front. A few of the storms could be
severe, with a level 1 of 5 severe risk. Damaging wind gusts and
large hail will be the primary hazards.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across northern Iowa this
afternoon and overnight. A few stronger storms are possible
however the severe potential is low.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will spread across the area
on Wednesday as a cold front passes across Iowa. A few stronger
storms are possible, however the overall severe threat is low.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday
evening. The severe threat is low at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight
A few storms may be strong to severe with large hail, frequent
cloud-to-water lightning, and wind gusts of 30 to 40 knots are
possible through this evening. Winds will veer northwesterly
tonight and winds will strengthen behind the cold front. Gusts up
to 25 knots are likely and a Small Craft Advisory is in effect.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Gusty north and northwest winds are forecast over western Lake
Superior Wednesday through the end of the week. Conditions will
be hazardous to smaller vessels at times each day through
Saturday.
There is a small risk of waterspouts Wednesday and Thursday.

A few storms may be strong to severe this afternoon, particularly
from central Minnesota east into northwest Wisconsin. Ping pong
ball size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, wind gusts of
40 to 60 mph, and brief torrential rainfall are the main threats.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Much cooler temperatures prevail. Patchy frost is possible
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Scattered shower and thunderstorms return from the late afternoon
into the overnight hours. An isolated severe risk will be possible
between 5 PM to 10 PM with quarter sized hail and 60 mph winds being
the primary threats. The greatest risk remains along and north of
I-90.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Canadian wildfire smoke will move through the area on Wednesday.
While the highest concentrations should stay aloft, reductions in
surface air quality and visibility will be possible throughout the
day. If you`re a part of a sensitive group, make sure to monitor
your local air quality.

There is a marginal risk (1 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms late
this afternoon into this evening as a cold front passes through.
Large hail up to an inch and strong thunderstorm winds up to 60 mph
are the main threats.
Patchy fog, some of it dense, may develop this morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Near surface smoke may move into the region by Wednesday morning,
potentially reducing visibility and creating poor air quality.
Additional smoke is possible on Thursday.
