* TIMING...Winds will increase quickly early Wednesday morning
  and last through the day.

* WINDS...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* IMPACTS...Lightweight and high-profile vehicles will be
  impacted, especially on east-west roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts in excess of 45 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...

...Another Period of Strong Wind Wednesday...

.Winds are expected to increase once again Wednesday as low
pressure deepens headings toward the Upper Mississippi River
Valley. The low should pass to our north and east, but winds will
strengthen behind becoming northwesterly during the morning. They
will strengthen further heading toward noontime and remain strong
through the afternoon. There may even be a brief period of
blowing snow north as the winds pick up initially.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 6 PM CST
WEDNESDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will strengthen northwest to southeast during
  the late morning hours and remain strong through sunset.

* WINDS...Northwest winds should reach sustained speeds of 25 to
  35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph likely.

* IMPACTS...Winds of this magnitude may blow loose objects such as
  Christmas decorations and make travel for high profile vehicles
  difficult. Fire weather conditions will also be elevated in
  areas that do not receive sufficient  precipitation. Any fires
  may spread quickly. There may also be a brief period of low
  visibilities in blowing snow north during the morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or wind
gusts of 45 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

these magnitudes may cause minor property damage without extra

  Wednesday.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 MPH with gusts to around 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
