THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A WEAK STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN TO NORTHWEST
CALIFORNIA TODAY. NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED TODAY AND
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN TO NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA
LATE FRIDAY INTO EARLY SATURDAY. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN ARE
ANTICIPATED AHEAD OF A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE AS IT SINKS SOUTH
FRIDAY NIGHT. TOTAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED WITH
THE GREATEST AMOUNTS IN DEL NORTE COUNTY AND THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS
OF HUMBOLDT COUNTY. SOUTH WINDS MAY GUST AS HIGH AS 40 MPH IN THE
COASTAL MOUNTAINS AND CRESCENT CITY JUST AHEAD OF THE FRONTAL
PASSAGE FRIDAY EVENING.
