and central Kentucky.

Afternoon thunderstorms will produce lightning, with locally
torrential rainfall and gusty winds also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms will persist through
Monday. Gusty winds, heavy rain and lightning are the main threats.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and into this
evening. Any storms will have heavy rain as their primary hazard
with lightning and gusty winds as additional potential hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Thunderstorm chances remain through the rest of this weekend and
into early next week when a cold front attempts to move through
the region. Torrential rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds will
remain the primary storm associated hazards.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Thunderstorms are possible, mainly late this afternoon and evening.
Some thunderstorms could produce excessive rainfall which might lead
to isolated instances of high water or flooding. Strong wind gusts
are also possible under the most intense thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorms are possible at times area-wide Sunday through Tuesday,
primarily during the afternoon and evening hours. There is also a
small chance of a thunderstorm from Wednesday through Friday, but
most locations should remain dry.

each day, with the main hazards being damaging winds and localized
flash flooding.
