OR OCCURRING. BOATERS OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND A PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSEL. RECREATIONAL BOATERS
SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A VERY STRONG AND FAST-MOVING COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE WATERS
SUNDAY MORNING. IMPRESSIVE PRESSURE FALLS AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND
PRESSURE RISES BEHIND THE FRONT WILL RESULT IN AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF DETERIORATED BOATING CONDITIONS BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON AND
LIKELY NOT ENDING UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WAKEFIELD HAS ISSUED A GALE
WARNING, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 AM EST
MONDAY. THE GALE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 KNOTS
  THIS AFTERNOON...BECOMING WEST TO NORTHWEST 25 TO 30 KNOTS THIS
  EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. GUSTS UP TO 40 KNOTS THIS EVENING
  THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...THEN GUSTS TO AROUND 35 KNOTS SUNDAY
  NIGHT.

* SEAS: 4 TO 5 FEET THIS AFTERNOON...BUILDING TO 6 TO 8 FEET
  AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY...THEN SUBSIDING TO 4 TO 7
  FEET SUNDAY NIGHT.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS WIND SPEEDS OF 25 TO 33 KNOTS AND/OR
SEAS OF 5 FEET OR GREATER OVER THE COASTAL WATERS ARE EXPECTED TO
PRODUCE HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED
MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS...SHOULD
AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS. MARINERS SHOULD PAY CLOSE
ATTENTION TO THE MARINE FORECAST...AND CONSIDER WIND AND SEA
CONDITIONS IN PLANNING.
