This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected over and
near the higher terrain today, with the best coverage along and west
of the Continental Divide. A few thunderstorms can also be expected
across the southeast plains later this afternoon into the early evening.
The main risks from storms today will be gusty outflow winds of 50 to 60
mph, with small hail and locally heavy rainfall possible with the
strongest storms. Localized flash flooding may also be possible, especially
along and west of the Continental Divide, where storms may train across
the higher terrain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Rain and thunderstorm chances continue into Friday and Saturday.
The main risk with storms on Friday will be excessive rainfall and
flash flooding, though a few storms may produce small hail and
gusty outflow winds to 60 mph as well. Chances for severe
thunderstorms increase on Saturday across our eastern plains.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Patchy dense fog may develop around or shortly before sunrise this
morning. Fog, where present, will lift and dissipate within a few
hours after sunrise.

High based showers and thunderstorms developing along the Raton
Mesa, Colorado Front Range and Palmer Divide may track northeastward
across portions of eastern Colorado and far western Kansas late this
afternoon and early this evening. Brief, localized wind gusts up to
65 mph are possible with any thunderstorm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will return to the region
Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Severe thunderstorms capable
of producing large hail and damaging winds are possible.

Thunderstorms development is possible Saturday late afternoon and
into Saturday night. A couple organized clusters of thunderstorms
may become strong or marginally severe with strong winds. Heavy
rainfall, leading to local areas of flooding, will also be a risk
due to slow storm movement.

A few showers and thunderstorms could produce gusty winds this
afternoon. Above normal temperatures are likely again, with highs
in the upper 80s across most of the plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue Thursday into
the weekend. The best chance of precipitation would be over the
higher terrain, with lower chances along and east of I-25. Above
normal temperatures will persist through Friday, with a cooling
trend expected this weekend into early next week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop late this morning
and afternoon, favoring the higher terrain initially with coverage
becoming more widespread into the lower valleys late this afternoon
and evening. Storms are likely to continue through the overnight
hours. Threats from these storms are gusty winds, frequent lightning,
small hail and brief heavy rain with localized flash flooding on or
near recent burn scars.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread to numerous Thursday
and Friday as a disturbance moves through the region with wetting
rain more likely. Some storms could be strong to severe on Thursday
with strong gusty winds, hail and heavy rain possible. Coverage
returns to isolated to scattered Saturday before drying out Sunday.
