...THE NEXT ROUND OF SNOW AND WIND TO MAKE POTENTIALLY DIFFICULT
TRAVEL FOR THE MONDAY COMMUTE...

A storm system will begin to spread snow showers across the
Sawtooths, Central Mountains and Continental Divide region by
Sunday afternoon, with snow showers beginning across the
remainder of SE Idaho Sunday night. In addition to the falling
snow, SW winds will become breezy Sunday into Monday, resulting
in areas of blowing snow. The combination of new snow and blowing
snow may result in snowy and icy surfaces Monday, potentially
producing hazardous driving conditions for the commute. You may
consider altering your plans to allow for extra time to reach your
destination Monday. Stay tuned for future forecast updates as we
continue to refine the forecast and resultant impacts as the
system approaches.
