A CHANGE TO WINTRY AND MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. SOME SNOW WILL FIRST MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST AND
SOUTHERN WYOMING...INCLUDING SUBLETTE AND SOUTHERN LINCOLN
COUNTIES...AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS COLORADO THIS AFTERNOON.
A SECOND...MUCH COLDER SYSTEM WILL THEN MOVE IN FROM THE NORTH
THIS EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP RAPIDLY BEHIND A COLD FRONT
AS IT TRACKS SOUTH THROUGH THE STATE. PERIODS OF GUSTY WIND AND
LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL BLANKET THE AREA TONIGHT AND TUESDAY.
MOST VALLEYS AND BASINS ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING WILL ACCUMULATE
LESS THAN 2 INCHES OF NEW SNOW...WITH AROUND 6 INCHES OF NEW SNOW
EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS. GUSTY WINDS WILL CREATE AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY ON MOUNTAIN PASSES... ALONG
WITH LOW WIND CHILLS DIPPING WELL BELOW ZERO. THE SNOW WILL CLEAR
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH LATE TUESDAY WITH A VERY COLD NIGHT EXPECTED
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS TO SOUTHEAST IDAHO...

A SURFACE COLD FRONT MOVING FROM CANADA SOUTHWARD ALONG THE
DIVIDE MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING WILL BRING 1 TO 3 INCHES
OF SNOW TO THE MOUNTAIN AREAS. THIS IS NOT A STRONG STORM
SYSTEM...BUT SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE AROUND ONE INCH EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING ALONG THE INTERSTATE 15 CORRIDOR BETWEEN IDAHO FALLS AND
POCATELLO. WINDS FROM THE WEST-SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH WILL
SHIFT TO THE NORTH AS THE COLD FRONT PASSES. SOME DRIFTING OF SNOW
IS POSSIBLE. CHECK THE LATEST WEATHER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED
FOR SOME WINTER DRIVING TUESDAY MORNING.
