...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM EDT FOR
CENTRAL PIKE COUNTY...

At 703 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Excessive runoff will
cause flash flooding of creeks and streams.

Excessive rainfall over the warned area will cause mud slides near
steep terrain. The mud slide can consist of rock, mud, vegetation
and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Coal Run Village, Meta, Mcandrews, Jamboree, Argo, Coal Run,
Zebulon, Phelps, Majestic, Kimper, Raccoon, Coleman, Board Tree,
Woodman, Paw Paw and Edgarton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
